Support the Next Generation of Bioacousticians

The Journées des Jeunes Bioacousticien·nes (JJBA) is an international conference created by and for young researchers in bioacoustics. Its mission is to provide an accessible space for early-career scientists to present their work, learn new methods, and grow their professional network, without the financial barriers common in scientific events.

Each year, JJBA welcomes 60–70 young researchers from around the world, including master’s students, PhD candidates, postdocs, and young professionals working in bioacoustics, ecology, conservation, signal processing, and related fields.

Thanks to the support of our partners, the JJBA keeps registration fees to a minimum, provides high-quality workshops and accommodation free of cost for all participants, and offers mobility grants to researchers with limited financial resources.
